Stephen Woollard

Stephen Woollard
(He/Him/His)

Stephen is a graduate of the Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy program at Camosun College and holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria. He worked for the provincial government for 15 years before leaving to pursue his passion for Athletic Therapy.

Stephen has worked with sports teams including the BC Lions, Castaway Wanderers Rugby, and the UVic rowing and swim teams at national championships. He has experience with ice hockey, rugby, basketball, field hockey, golf, and running.

An NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and NCCP Road Running Coach, Stephen became involved in sport and fitness in his late 20s, when he began to pursue running and triathlon. Along with the life-changing benefits of sport and physical activity, he experienced the lows of injuries and physical setbacks. Stephen understands the profound effect injuries can have on a person’s physical and mental well-being, and his ultimate goal is to get you back to doing what you love and being at your best.

When not working with patients, you might see Stephen stretching his mental muscles at pub trivia, exploring the city while running, or participating in races.
