Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on approach that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system; which involves any ailment related to nerves, muscles, tendons and joints. The health of their patients is enhanced through the use of a variety of techniques and approaches which may include the chiropractic adjustment, joint mobilizations, soft tissue release techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
Performance Plus is similar to personal training, but as Strength Coaches and Athletic Therapists or Physiotherapists, we bring the knowledge and expertise of injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance into your sessions.
A thorough assessment with a therapist trained in concussion management can help determine which classification you fit into and will help guide your treatment plan, including which other practitioners should be involved with your recovery.
A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) follows a holistic approach to health and wellness. They look at the whole, not just isolated parts to determine underlying causes of more recognizable symptoms. Because of this, they are able to get to the root of the issue for long-term sustainable wellness success.
Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our clients say:
Our son has been seeing a therapist at the Athlete Centre for both specific injury rehab and as part of an ongoing strength and conditioning program. We have been very pleased with all aspects of his treatment and have nothing but positive feedback. We would recommend The Athlete Centre without hesitation (and have in fact referred multiple clients to them already).
The Athlete Centre has done more for me in a very short time than all the treatments I’ve had in the last 20 years. The therapists have a good understanding of different disabilities and they have shown me ways to stay active in my various sports, especially in regard to preventing further injuries. I highly recommend The Athlete Centre!
After years of intense training and back surgery, my daily routine had to change to allow my body to recover and perform. Sarah was able to understand the need and complexity of my situation and provided guidance and treatment that allowed me to qualify and participate at my 3rd Olympic Games. This is a life and professional experience that I am confident she will be able to transfer to any individual she works with.
